Bringing Science and Practice Together:

The Center for Collegiate Mental Health (CCMH) is a multi-disciplinary, member-driven, research center focused on providing accurate and up-to-date information about the mental health of today’s college students in order to serve the needs of mental health providers, administrators, researchers, and the public.

CCMH leverages modern technology and the collaborative efforts of college counseling centers and key partners in business, academia, health-care, and member organizations.

NEW IN 2012: PARTICIPATE IN THE MENTAL HEALTH & COUNSELING BENCHMARK STUDY!

CCMH has partnered with the NASPA Assessment Consortium to conduct the 2012-2013 Mental Health & Counseling Benchmark Study. Similar to 2009, this national survey of college students, using the SDS and CCAPS, will help us better understand the nature of mental health concerns and distress within the general population of college students. This year, we will be including the My Resilience Factors (MRF)instrument to gauge student’s resilience in addition to distress. Because this study uses data standards established by CCMH, institutions that participate in CCMH have the unique opportunity to compare their general student body to their counseling center clients with minimal effort. Click here to learn more – or click here to register.
